ya this is a funny bug i noticed.
afaik the only way to fix it is to have the bookmarks toolbar item somewhere on your toolbars.
This is bogus, right click works fine for me everywhere.
XP SP2, FF 1.0 with some extensions.
Sage goes in the signature field.
Works fine for me as well on XP SP1, Dutch Firefox 1.0 version and some extensions.
You've installed Firefox for the first time? Did you import the bookmarks out of IE (as is the option during installation of Firefox)? Could that be the problem?
Book mark some sites in Firefox using firefox bookmarking and try again.

do you guys have the bookmarks toolbar item in your bookmarks toolbar, then the bookmarks toolbar hidden? or are you using the bookmakrs toolbar?
