    A classic can be contemporary.

    Age doesn't matter.
    I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

    If a car fits the Inland Revenue's criteria for it being a 'classic car' then it is subject to special tax treatment.

    These criteria are that it has to be older than 15 years and worth more now than it was when first registered. Maybe something else too, I can't recall.


    Other than that particular case, things of any age can be considered 'classic'.
