He has 800 Bucks to spare and he doesnt need to buy a video card, so thats why i'd recommend a 3200 , plus the speed is alot faster

Why not look into the Sempron? Although, it's very close to the Celeron overall and there isn't a clear better choice. In this case Intel makes sense too.

Im only gettin cause i want to test out the OC ability. Plus my current 2000+ and mobo and prob about to give out. Is there anything that compares Sempron and D w/ and w/o OCing?

I've heard that Amd Bartons can overclock very high, have you tried those yet ?

Not as high as the D. Ive read about many, many people OCing from 2.66 to over 4.0 GHz on stock. Saw a benchmark at tomshardware and the Celeron (OC'd) did as well as both the 3000+ 64-bit and the 3.2e GHz P4 on most the tests.

All that for an $88 chip.
