I saw ATI-RAD9000-128MB Pro for only $97 on pricewatch. Seems like a good deal to this video card neophyte vs $400 (I think) for the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. Not a vid card exp by far though.

If you want high power but low price, I would get ATi Radeon 9500 Pro. as said by Maximum PC, it performs just 10% less then a 9700 Pro, but for 40% off the price.

but seriously does a good video card matter much? as long as u can see the graphics ur fine.... they cost too much... a video card around 65 dollars to me is good enough.... i bet if you go look at dell computers their video cards are probably even worst!
