I got the demo of Links 2003 and it's not bad, nice key layout

Forgot to mention Soldier of Fortune and AvP, both are decent but old, AvP is even abandonware, as is system shock 2 which is also a good game.
And I think you might be able to play AvP2 and SoF2 as well.

AvP2 needs like 400Mhz so he would be able to play it. Also half Life 1 and expansions and hundreds of mods. Max Payne 1 is good as well. Also trying to Install Windows is like a game, end levels well 'ard
