DVD-9 is just a dual layer DVD. It is what every other DVD is. Try another player.

dumb question...but you DO have a dvd decoder installed dont you?
like an app such as powerdvd, windvd, etc.
or one that came with a video card or your dvd drive?
(ATi included one with my catalyst cd, works nicely)
