sure, add the IPs to BLACK_LISTED_IP_ADDRESSES= in limewire.props, with notepad, located in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\default\.limewire (if you have XP)
sorry man, please be patient w/me
i found the limewire.props and openned it in notepad, but not sure what u mean by "add the IPs to BLACK_LISTED_IP_ADDRESSES="
i also tried searching about this in google and it still didn't make sense
can u explain a little bit more
do i just add the word BLACK_LISTED_IP_ADDRESSES=
does this work the same as emule filter.dat (where to get the banned ip and how to update it)
i also found this site http://sga.jmu.edu/itaffairs/fsharing/Limewire2.htm , what is jmu users???

if it's not there add the line:
BLACK_LISTED_IP_ADDRESSES=
then seperate each IP with a ;
example:
BLACK_LISTED_IP_ADDRESSES=12.34.56.78;23.45.67.89; ECT ECT. . .
i would suggest running bluetack or peerguardian instead to block the enemy (not that it will help hiding you)
can i use the block ip addressed from emule's ipfilterdat or is bluetack or peerguardian better
beats me...
EDIT i just saw the link you posted earlier, notice there isn't an IMPORT feature, it would take two lifetimes to add them all manually.

is the latest limewiremod from http://www.magnetdb.com/viewforum.php?f=8 the same as latest latest limewire4.8.1 and does it provide u with better protection filter
thats been discontinued, the last version is based on limewire 4.2.4Originally Posted by chris_j11
it offers the same ip filtering as regular limewire.
what they are talking about is setting up limewire so it only connects to others on the same university network. like a private networkOriginally Posted by chris_j11
