    you thought wrong
it installs a IE BHO and the "simple banner ads" in exeem, theyre not just simple banner ads, they are 2 full blown web pages loading in the little boxes.

They're full of shockwave flash, cookies, JavaScripts, redirects, and iframes

i thought a "simple banner ad" was suppose to an image, and not webpages full of scripts, tracking cookies, redirects and possible exploits

fortunately theyre hosted by cydoor, so no worries.

i use BIT eXeem though, it's a cleaned version

If you go to their main site, you'll read quite clearly that, though exeem is 'freeware' it is supported by advertising(meaning loaded with adware/spyware), very much like limewire was when first released. Scary to think that they might shove bonzi buddy into exeem one day.

My mind works like lightning. One brilliant flash, and it's gone.

Besides being adware, it was always slow for me. And yes, I had ports set up right. Normal BT it is for me.

Exeem was meant to be the best of bt and kazaa, it managed neither, bt and kazaa are both still better and I can't see that changing for a long time.
