Softmodding nightmare

Can anyone help plz help me?

I soft-modded my xbox, (using splinter-cell & mem card). After I tried to restore my ms-dash and now every time I boot my x-box it gets stuck on updating xbox live screen. It wont boot onto the CD because the Bios must have been changed to boot to hdd first. I cant seem to do anything with it. I pretty new to this so if ya can help plz holler!
