i'm not just talking about marketing. where's the originality? why aren't they trying to make me anticipate playing these games?
all i'm seeing is old games on what look like the same old engines with more polygons, we already have enough polygons to play these same old games. i want something new, i want to want to play a game.
surely there's something they can do. put a better geomod in a decent game? really use broadband effectively?

I know what you mean. The MTV special was a joke, and the only glimpse of gameplay I got was a fps game that looks just like every other fps game.
They need another big, new game to promote it, like what Halo was for the original Xbox.

Ghost Recon 3, if you havent seen w/e seconds of footage that's out there i suggest you go check it out, along with the preview at IGN and Gamespot + pictures. Cannot wait for that game to be released, it looks insanely good.
