why does everyone miss the point when it comes to the swastika?
i understand you. you aren't saying microsoft are nazis, you're just wondering if the stigma of power attached to the letter X was subconsciously around upto 100 years ago

@vid: I was just saying, 'cos I think the distinction should and can be made very clearly even on here. I was thinking of that valentino-bloke when I posted it. Wasn't trying to criticize you, this time.
If you post a swastika, with the points in the approvable direction, and without the background colours the nazis used, then I think it should be cool.
If people can't get used to that, then they are being a bit unfair. 'cos we all know the difference between a cross turned upside down, and regular one, and one on fire for that matter. And we wouldn't complain about the regular kind, I'm thinking.
