If your mom is gone, 1st things 1st.
Take the time to wash clothes and do the menial tasks and you will appreciate "free time" more. Concentrate on school school school SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL SCHOOL!! SCHOOL!!!!
This will all come into play when later on you have to mow your own lawn, wash your clothes, fix dinner, clean your gutters, buy a new sump pump, get up go to work every morning...........

I was always smart but I lived where I lived and did the wrong thing by skipping school and doing my business in the street. I almost didn't graduate due only because of attendence. Some of friends much later called me Good Will Hunting.
