I have the chance to get a free (legal) copy of Registry Mechanic 4.00 from a computer magazine CD.
Has anyone used this program ?
Is it any good ?
Does it have any problems ?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. I have XP.
Kind Regards

I didn't like it. But that was a while ago. I think TuneUp Utilities 2006 is much much better.

registry mechanic 5.1 is out no wonder they are giving 4.0 away for free.

Well must say I disagree but then again I perfer a heavy duty regleaner like Reg Spreme or Regcleaner , but rarely use them unless I have a time trial or other stubborn program I'm trying to clean up . Crapcleaner is not really meant for that but still a nice proggy , more like an all in one .
Zapjb ,your a little more advanced than most so that does n't surprise me .
@FKDUP74 , your right don't think I 'v every unziped to a folder just open and go has some other nice programs aswell .

Kinda don't like it. I think it causes some weird glitches in XP awhile back (before a format)
Tweak Ultilities 2006 has a nice Registry cleaner that I'm using now. It always gets the system going faster after a good cleaning every two weeks or so.
