Ok in Australia you set to pal but what do you set aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9. Someone copied some for me and used pal and 16:9 if its wrong what difference will ity make. The setting are wanted for Australian widescreen.

I only use DvdSanta or ConvertX and they have settings you can change when converting , then burning . Can you not change settings on your tv when watching ?

Is the sound correct before you convert? If not, you need to re-sync it with Vdub or the like...and I've converted alot of XViD videos to DvD using ConvertX and never once has sync been an issue.

Well have to give up and try at another time, this dvd movie file is from h33t but there is no way it will convert it to vob and burn. Think problem is it say most of file is ntsc rest are pal coursing audio out of sync. If could take audio out and put back in easy might be only way to do it.

Like I said re-do it with VitrualDub, there are many VDub guides on the interweb....did you try convertx and see if it worked?
