I only have $10 so i can only buy one....
and about the Question...
The first is a "Fan Grill" , U put fan grills in top of a FAN so that nobobys put the fingers in there
The second is a "Fan Controller", U use a fan controller to "control" tha fan speed so that U make Your PC Quite....
So What do you people recommend?
Both overpriced, save your money, you won't see them properly with the bag and shades.
Edit: they'll only put their fingers in once, and if you put the side cover on they can't get near anyway.

The fan controller will come in handier.
Tinkering around with your fan speeds while monitoring internal temps can be quite instructive. You can also make your machine louder or quieter depending on what you are doing at the time.
That fan grill looks like junk...it will certainly cut down airflow through whatever fan it's mounted to. If your setup is so efficient that you can afford to block off a fan with that, then go for it I guess, but keep your eyes on your system monitor to see what it does...

hmmm, thanks!
I think you are right, the Fan controller would be a lot more worth my money, im getting that, THANKS
I would buy the grill because then you can easilly make a fan controller
Also wouldnt the grill be more to stop dust from clogging up the fan ?
i would go with the fan controller. that's a pretty good price. is that the lowest there is?
y r they overpriced. the fan controller looks reasonable to me!?!?!?Originally posted by lynx@29 September 2003 - 19:27

It just occurred to me...
You might want to check which type of connecters your fans have- 3-pin or 4-pin Molex.
My fan controller needs 3-pin connecters and all my fans were 4-pin, so I had to swap out the fans to make the system work...
