Hi guys,
Lately i have noticed some increase on the attacks on my computer. Mostly i get a msg: "Blocked Backdoor/Subseven Trojan horse" and "invalid tcp activities" and one more i dont remember the name on.
Does this meen that i have trojan on my computer?
I have tried scaning with " Moosoft The Cleener" "norton anti virus" "anti trojan 5.5", but none of them seems to find anything.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks

In zonealarm I turned off alerts because it was driving nuts, is that what you mean? Its in options But still saves a log file to view if you wish.

Her angel of darkness
I been receiving the same messages from NIS for some time now. So long as the firewall holds and autoblock does its job, I am not too worried.
However what does concern me is that these are supposed to "stealth" firewalls. Meaning that "script kiddies" should not even be able to detect that your ports are even there.
Can anyone explain or describe exactly what is going on? Are systems that are supposably protected by these applications truely invisible or have hackers found away around this little inconveinence for them?

You wont get nagging alert messages with a router.

There are always attacks on your system from the internet, software scanning your system for weakness, thats why a firewall is so vital nowadays.
Make sure you have components authentification active (if this is available) to give you maximum security.
