for some reason all the hidden files around my pc have now shown.
in every floder there is a file called Thumbs.db
i cant delete them cos it says its a system file.
and in the main drive (c theres loads of system files.
is there any way to make them hidden again?
there all faint (see though)

windows explorer / tools
its in folder options, go to the view tab
and tick hide protected operating system files

Thumbs.db files speed up the viewing of folders with video or image files for those who run thumbnail view.
If you want to get rid of thumbs.db files: -
Control panel > Folder options > View > Do Not Cache Thumbnails.
This won't delete all the existing files, but will stop windows creating any more of the fuckers.
