My girlfriends hotmail email was wiped cleam this week.
All the adress's are still there, but everythings gone!???
I told her to change her password.
Anybody know what could have caused this??

or your girlfriend deleted them accidentally(checked "select all" and then deleted them without paying attention), she didnt want to admit its her fault.

Did she get a free 2 gig account when she signed up? There was a glitch in the system where people could get 2 GB free by making the system think they signed up for the Hotmail Plus.
They recently fixed this and set everyone emails back to wht the should be though.
If she hadn't logged in for 30 days then I think they do this..

i thought that if u didnt log in for 30 days the entire account gets deleted? or?
SorryYour Hotmail account becomes inactive if you do not sign in for 30 days, or within the first 10 days after signing up for an account. Once an account becomes inactive, all messages, folders, and contacts are deleted, but the account name is still reserved.
If the account stays inactive for an additional 90 days, it is permanently deleted.
