compression is used on files, blank files compress a lot. nuff said

I've had this too when downloading a recently released album. They are dummy files, empty but recognised by windows as being a certain size. It's not extra bandwidth just kazaa being fooled into thinking it is.
Basically, what smellmycomputer said.
