Where did the review section go?
Ok, so I got my hands on both brand new phones (both came today) and I'm bored so I made a quick review...
Both phones use T-Mobile service and are My Faves Compatible.
The differences I have noticed so far (not all the features of both phones have been used):
Pros
Samsung t619
-Has slightly better picture quality, and lighting than the Razr.
-Many more picture options (7 different resolutions to choose from)
-A lot more picture editing options (eg: mosaic, black and white, negative, emboss, sepia, sketch.
-Neater looking GUI.
-Shows full date and time right on the screen.
-External LCD shows basic needed information.
-External LCD is slightly bigger than the Razr's (only a little longer.)
-Has the same slim profile as the Razr only very slightly fatter but not as tall or wide as the Razr.
-Has a brighter main LCD screen.
-Better battery life
-More internal memory (around 25mb).
-MP3 and Video player.
-Supports AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, and MSN Messenger.
-Holds up to 1000 contacts.
-Fits easy in your pocket.
Motorola Razr
-Bigger main LCD size
-Can take pictures with the clamshell closed using the external screen.
-Can activate external screen with the clamshell closed by pressing any outside button.
-When bluetooth is enabled, the LCD shows the bluetooth icon on top where the battery display and signal are displayed. Also, outside of the phone the bluetooth icon is illuminated blue when it is enabled.
-Uses USB port for charging and connectivity with a PC.
-Fits easy in your pocket.
-Can use speaker phone with the phone closed.
-Phone hacks.
Cons
Samsung t619
-No external memory slot
-No USB.
-External LCD will only stay on for a few seconds then shut off
-Can only turn the external LCD back on is by opening then closing the phone.
-Slightly smaller main LCD than the Razr.
-Cannot use speaker phone with the phone closed.
-There are no phone hacks I know of.
Motorola Razr
-Not as comfortable to hold.
-Less battery life.
