WinAVi always works for me. What problem was with it>??
"Make dvd"..."Dvd video"..."Add Video Files"...Any popup window that opens I just close.I also select "do not create a menu" from the menu to use drop down arrow. If I'm converting a 2 file xvid I add both from the add video file section.I also have aspect ratio set to automatic as well as quality(these options are found under the "More" tab "Video options".It takes about 1.5 hour, but alot depends on ram and cpu...OH ya I also save file to hardrive then burn later, but to each his own.....Originally Posted by Skizo

ffs....I wait four Goddamn hours for the thing to burn only to get a message at the end that says "Burn process failed". This is such bullshit! Is there no program out there worth a fuck to get an avi file onto a playable DVD??
I would have thought that this would be common practice by now.......

Thats why its a good idea to save the file to the hardrive and burn later You would at least have the file still....Originally Posted by Skizo
Just a quick thought someone I know used a certain keygen with Nero and they also had problems converting.
Open Nero Burning ROM >> Choose DVD on the drop down underneath where it says new compilation >> Choose DVD Video on the picture menu under that >> Click the New button on the right hand side.Originally Posted by Skizo
Navigate to the folder containing your .ifo, .vob and .bup files using the right hand panel >> Highlight them all >> Drag and drop directly onto the red VIDEO_TS folder in the left hand panel.
Make sure you highlight and drap and drop all of the files into that red folder, double click the folder to check that they're all there.
Click the burn icon in the menu bar at the top >> Click the burn button on the new dialogue box that pops up.
That's it.
I've been using
AVI2DVD
and it seems to work pretty well, it can also join up avi files into one....which is nice.
