Well, yeah. If you want to be exact, you can run homebrew on all firmware versions. Fanjita even released homebrew Tetris for 2.6 using the GTA exploit.Originally Posted by mike45450

The eboot's are loaded from the Photo menu, not the Game menu, etc. Plus all the homebrew runs in a limited environment, you can't get kernel access like you could with 1.5. Homebrew on 1.5 is a bajillion times better than it is on 2.0 if you ask me... but yeah, you 2.0'ers have one thing I want... the official Sony browser.
Right now I have a 1.5 PSP with:
-------------------------------
Attack of the Mutants
Dead to Rights (with it's own loader)
Doom 1 and 2 (full versions)
FileAssistant++
Gameboy Color emulator (Rin)
Sega Genesis emulator (PSPGenesis)
NeoGeo CD emulator
NES emulator (NesterJ)
Polygon (clone of Bejeweled)
Puzzle Bobble Pocket (with it's own loader)
Quake 1 (full game, direct port)
SNES emulator (SNES9x TYL)
Super Tux (direct port of PC game)
UMDEmulator (with Burnout Legends with my own custom music)
and the Fired Up browser.
-------------------------------
All running off of the Game > Memory Stick menu, all with my own custom homebrew icons, backrounds, and sound effects.
