    Why raise the basket?

A friend of mine said that the only people that want the basket raised is white people.

The Seattle Supersonics beat the Phoenix Suns 152 - 149.

Ray Allen won with a buzzer beater 4 steps back from the 3-point line.

The game was the biggest point total since 1995. (301)

    Shoulda watched that one.

I remember a game back in the '80s between the Pistons and the Nuggets that ended 186-183, Pistons.

Lotsa runnin' and gunnin' that night.

    Why are you confused?

Either way, your loss on the hatin'.

It's definitely more exciting than darts or baseball.

Kobe Bryant had 81 points last night, which was the second most points ever scored in a game by one player. Wilt The Stilt Chamberlin holds the record which is set at 100 points.

    Says you.

One game, here or there, maybe, but on the whole I'd rather watch a game of chess.

Can't stand the showin' off-football's getting almost as bad, and it'll break my heart to stop watching that.
