    The corsair part number you need is CMSS???MB-266 - ???=128/256/512.

    Unlike many HP original parts (not that they make memory in the first place), buying compatible alternatives will allow you to keep all your limbs.

    The system will also accept DDR333 memory although it will still run at 266MHz. However, it may be cheaper and easier to find.
    Wouldn't DDR400 also work?

    If it's a work computer used for invoices, format it and disconnect it from the internet. It's amazing how many people just casually connect to the 'net just to save 2 minutes walking upstairs and face being raped with spyware/virus/adware.

    In an office it might be better to install Win 2000 Pro as well Peerzy that machine would fly with 512 mb ram , no antivirus etc.
