    yes but not every1 on thie forum or on kazaa are from uk are they

    oh and also NTL are releasing 2MB pretty soon, theyre doing trials of it in my area..ill be getting that when released if the price is decent...2mb = about 280-300kbps i reckon..nice speed

    i know not everyone here is from the UK but i thought u were talking about us man &#33;&#33;

    yeah a 2mbit line would be ridiculous speeds - nice tho &#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

    im sure it would be upwards of about 50 squid a month

    firstly it is released (in scotland anyway) and it is £50 a month.

    And its not in England, Northern Ireland and Wales (for home users anyway as far as im aware) so it must just be there.

    Where i live..there no broadband coverage at all..but if i look out my back window
    at the street behind me they can all get ntl service..guttin they can fuck them selves now..i&#39;m not jealous anymore..bt a coverin&#39; my area from 6 aug

    its released in england too but not on NTL or BT yet... (does BT even have 1mb yet? lol BT sucks)

    150 k a sec? that all...lol im at over 450kb a sec on my cable with the occasional spike of over 1.5 meg a sec down and up average bout 28kb sec with some days at over 60kb sec up.... If you want a free program to keep track of your traffic goto www.analogx.com they have some really good stuff there fro free

    hang on a second you get 450kb/s on a 1mb cable connection??

    on NTL documents i got it says you should get no more than 135kbps so me getting 150 is a decent bonus

    450kb/s = you need over a 3MB connection

    and i monitor all my uploads/downloads with "du meter" its cool, not freeware but i got serial..i paid for it of course *cough*

    and also you say 150kb/s is that all

    it suits me nicely getting an mp3 in 15-20secs and a dvd rip in less than 2hours
