I dunno......Tool's Lateralus cover is something quite freaky
Every page you turn reveals a different view of the actual cover.
I think it's like, the different systems in the human body.
Kinda messed me up the first time I saw it....

Crap Spam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry, but how anyone can describe this as "crap spam" is beyond me!
This is one of the most thought provoking threads I've ever seen on this board.
As soon as I saw the title, I thought "King Crimson "court of the crimson king" & hey presto, there it was
Well, here are a few I think merit inclusion:
The first Iron Maiden albums (up to "Powerslave")
Led Zep "IV"
The Clapton album with the melted guitar on it (can't remember the title?)
AC/DC "If you want blood "(Ah, memories&#33
Pet Shop Boys "Absolutley"
Happy Mondays "pills, thrills & bellyaches"

well i have one that could beat that one.

This is The "our little secrets" cd cover.
harmless you may think shes pretty hot alot of you may think. weird i you think not. but what you dont see is the full cover that folds on the inside.
which reveals the hot chicks package in her skirt. now that is a rude awakening and beats them all. maybe just for the transvestites portion of the program

zacspeed - I couldn't agree with you more, and thanks for the kind words, unlike those which that Freakin Moron NEMO wrote - HIS reply was Spam itself, as it had nothing at all to do with this topic. His reply simply takes up space and wastes my, your and everyone else's time having to scroll past it. What an ass!

Now onto the good stuff, the album covers you mentioned:

Iron Maiden 1980 Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden 1981 Killers

Iron Maiden 1982 The Number of the Beast

Iron Maiden 1983 Piece of Mind [Limited Edition]

Iron Maiden 1984 Powerslave

Led Zeppelin 1971 Led Zeppelin IV

Eric Clapton with Melted Guitar: Sorry, I don't know that one.

AC/DC 1978 If You Want Blood You've Got It [live]

Pet Shop Boys 1994 Absolutely Fabulous

Happy Mondays 1990 Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches

Enjoy the Covers everyone (except NEMO) Hey, here's an idea NEMO..... Help Reduce Spam - don't click on the link to this topic!

Spiritualized are really the masters of packaging. They're released CDs in blister packs
(like pills come in), molded plastic cases, etc.

one of the coolest album covers ever was Plastikman - Sheet One:

The cover is perforated into small squares, like LSD tabs.
The Pink Floyd - Animals cover is one of my all-time favorites, simply because they actually went
to the trouble of making a giant pig balloon and floating over that old plant, rather than just
superimposing the image or something.

That's all the covers I can think of now.

this post is guaranteed 100% parrot-free
