    guess i can't win. so, i moved back to winamp. works GREAT. only 7% cpu usage. seems retarded that EVERYTHING wmp plays only uses up to 20% cpu, but if i play mp3's 100% all the fucking time and it's not just mousing over that does it. even idling and it does this. wtf. time to upgrade.

    anway, where the hell is the crossover fade in/out option located in winamp? can't find it. don't have to have it, but i prefer to have that option enabled.

    Seems like the build-in option isn't working too good.

    This plugin should do the trick better than the build-in option:

    thx for the response, but be4 i venture into dl'ing that what built in option r u talking about? that's my problem. i can't find it. is that what u mean? i should be able to find it, but seeing how i can't means it's not working? idk. illaborate plz.

    The build-in option is located in: preferences > output in plugins > DirectSound output > configure > fading tab > and select "on end of song" > check enabled.

    wmp is for chumps you could alternatively use winamp which is a good music player, and the new version packs a kickass theme.
