what i hate bout some os is that it wont run certain games...
FOR XP:
i dled worms world party n armaggedon and neither of them runs... :/
magic the gathering trading card game didnt run either but it worked on a 98...
FOR 2000:
several games just loads n closes quickly... :/
i think 98 is pretty safe... but its not the best... maybe if you mix and match then you will get a great os...

Well, it is your pc and if both you and your pc like it.....run it!
Dont listen to anyone else, because everyone uses their pc for different functions.
Remember a pc is just a tool.
Although you never gave any specs. on your system or any reasons why you dont like any other OS it doesnt matter.
bottom line..............
It is your pc and if both you and your pc like it.....run it!
BTY, looks like a lounge thread to me.

I just installed it today, i could of gotten XP but i figured, ME is cooler intials. So i started it up, it loads porn and my tomb raider game soo fastt its amazing. it crashes a lot less then windows 3.1, i dont know if the graphic interface is to much better. I really dont understand why people get XP, i mean ME is just soo amazin, and the title bars fade all nice and stuff, i jizzed twice, i swear
This guy is clearly taking the pi$$. And doing a good job of it judging by most of your answers.

WinME and XP suffer from some of the same afflictions.
What "same afflictions" may I ask are you talking about?
XP works perfectly for me.
"System Restore" resource hog is what I am specifically speaking of.

Well, you can turn it off in system properties in about 2 seconds flat.

Just look at his name, say's it all really lol ;-)
I use Windows XP for Games, Music, Video, and nigh-on everything else a PC can possibly do and have hardly any problem's with it, yet when I used Windows ME I was lucky to go an hour without some kind of problem happening lol
Saying that though, I do have Windows ME installed aswell as XP due to the odd game or two not running on XP so i've no problem's there :-)

I have never tried windows me on my computer, I tried it on my friend's computer and its okay. But, I would never trade my Windows Xp. Due to my stupidness clumsiness, system restore save my comp from further damage so i'm grateful for that. It doesn't seem as a resource hog to me, so I'm happy with it.
