Well 3 now 2 older boys, and in a way it is kind of selfish because before I had my first kid I was headed down a dark road of drugs drinking and loose women, well that part was good . I can honestly say that I need something to live for and my children and my wife truly saved my life with all sincerity they still do.
so I honestly do appreciate your concern, but although the lounge has a rep for it's regulars being heartless insensitive pricks and all that other good stuff, Everyone loves a baby especially when it isn't theirs , and I trust in no one would cross a line we all have our on line persona's but we are all real people with real lives and through the lounges tough facade Still there is an air of support from the "wolves" as you say. I appreciate everyone's comments and I know the wife will too when she gets home from the hospital.
God Bless you and yours.
I wish her all the health and happiness that you would wish her yourself. Take care of her or you'll have me to answer to.
Remember to think of your lads at this time and make sure they know that their wee Sister is an addition to your family who will enhance it and that she is not replacing them.
I find that telling them they have a wee Sister and they need to help look after her is a good option.
Not for the 1 year old, he probably would struggle with the concept. However the three year old may like the idea of being a big brother, having someone to take care of. Don't let him babysit until he is at least six though, that would be mad.
Now don't ever insult me again. Nice is optional, it's not a default position.
Cheers and thanks for sharing your pride and joy (do you see what I did there) with us.
A grand achievement - we should have an official Lounge "wetting the baby's head". She is lovely.
Girls are expensive btw - so start saving now. My princess is 18 in a few weeks and I am already breaking out in a cold sweat
Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum
I'm estimating a ball park figure of £150,000 for education alone.
