If you're listening to your mp3's on your pc's speakers you probably won't hear any difference. Burn them to cd and listen to them with good hifi equipment, and you will notice a difference. the way i see it, there's no point using such a "round the way" procedure for no improved result
dbpoweramp does still use LAME encoder though...
