I am trying to record audio onto my pc, anytime I try this I get a lot of noise.
Even with all audio devices unplugged I still get noise being recorded
Any ideas of how to get a clean recording???
Thanx guys

Precise what you want to do exactly.
-Import music on your pc ? then from which source?
-create music?
The problem can be induced by various things.
-Do you have an earth-electrode on your electric installation?
-Is your sound-card bullshit?
-Do alliens often land near your home?
Just give more precisions.

Do you have this noise only when you touch the guitar cords or all the time?
Check also if it doesn't make less noise when you play guitar without touching the floor. On your bed for example.

I plug my guitar into the line in and it does'nt work at all
I plug a mic in and it works but the sound recorded hisses
I unplug everything and record and it records hisssss
There's nothing more I can tell you I'm asking for help for once rather than helping others..........just once cos I'm stuck

Have you check your pc audio setting:
If not then you have to shut down the auxiliariies voices you 're not using, and the audio-cd voice.
