Island off of Spain. One of the "dance capitals" of the world for dance music. Extremely popular with the fans of that styles of music in the uk.

Ah. As inviting as that sounds I voted for Woodstock. If only for the cultural and historical significance. And the chance to witness that legendary Hendrix performance.

There was only one Woodstock. Forget the cash-ins afterwards, the only Woodstock occurred 15-18 August 1969.

The 4-day set (Contrary to the continual insistence that Woodstock was a three-day event (even the official marker on the site says that), the performances occurred over four days) in chronological order:

Friday 15 August 1969

1 Richie Havens
2 Sweetwater
3 Bert Sommer
4 Tim Hardin
5 Ravi Shankar
6 Melanie
7 Arlo Guthrie
8 Joan Baez

Saturday 16 August 1969

9 Quill
10 Country Joe McDonald
11 John B. Sebastian
12 Keef Hartley
13 Santana Not paid
14 The Incredible String Band
15 Canned Heat
16 The Grateful Dead
17 Creedence Clearwater Revival
18 Janis Joplin
19 Sly & the Family Stone
20 The Who

Sunday 17 August 1969

21 Jefferson Airplane
22 Joe Cocker & the Grease Band
23 Country Joe & the Fish
24 Mountain
25 Ten Years After
26 The Band
27 Johnny Winter
28 Blood, Sweat & Tears
29 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

Monday 18 August 1969

30 The Paul Butterfield Blues Band
31 Sha Na Na
32 Jimi Hendrix

"The Last Set, the Last Song"

That's enough for me, but here are a few more...

ART SHOW
Paintings and sculptures on trees, on grass, surrounded by the Hudson valley, will be displayed. Would be artists, ghetto artists, and accomplished artists will be glad to discuss their work, or the unspoiled splendor of the surroundings, or anything else that might be on your mind. If you're an artist, and you want to display, write for information.

CRAFTS BAZAAR
If you like creative knickknacks and old junk you'll love roaming around our bizaar. You'll see imaginative leather, ceramic, bead, and silver creations, as well as Zodiac Charts, camp clothes, and worn out shoes.

If you like playing with beads, or improvising on a guitar, or writing poetry, or molding clay, stop by one of our work shops and see what you can give and take.

FOOD
There will be cokes and hotdogs and dozens of curious food and fruit combinations to experiment with.

HUNDREDS OF ACRES TO ROAM ON
Walk around for three days without seeing a skyscraper or a traffic light. Fly a kite, sun yourself. Cook your own food and breathe unspoiled air. Camp out: water and restrooms will be supplied. Tents and camping equipment will be available at the Camp Store.

MUSIC STARTS AT 4:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY, AND AT 1:00 P.M. ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
It'll run for 12 continuous hours, except for a few short breaks to allow the performers to catch their breath.

C'mon - Ibiza? Get real, people!

Woodstock!

Seems like I'm a minority, but Ibiza definitely!!!!

I went there when I was 12, and I really enjoyed. Obviously then I was too young to go dancing etc, but I liked the island.
