i recomend that you buy it a big screen

I second this. If you've got the money, a Dell Ultrasharp U2410 is well worth it.
Yep, if you have the money, Dell is one good monitor to go for...
Mine is a LG W2452V and it's just so so but it's cheap

    +1 Samsung

    +3 Dell Ultrasharp

Once you get into the profiles, those are IPS LCD screens (surpassing TN technology), the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA just owns everything that is 22' (like it)

I got it on a rebate for $250 CAN.

Are they on the market, cinephilia? Or just random searching led you to that... thing?

I would recommend the Asus VH202T-P.

I been using Dell for ages, seems to get job done. Picture is great and prices are competitive.

    Ahaha brands.

You're better off getting a brand that offers the maximum performance/price ratio.

I recommend Acer, not because I'm a brand fanboy but because their LCDs are cheaper than comparable ones from LG, Samsung, Dell, etc. As long as a LCD isn't DOA, chances are you'll get a good few years out of it.

No mention of NEC, I guess I'm the minority.
