Will Halo Run On My Pc?

I have Athlon 2000 (1.66 GHZ)
256 MG DDR
Nvidia GeForce 3 Titanium
Halo runs reasonably well on my set up, with all textures etc. set to max, except during heavy combat scenarios. I'm only on the second section where you have to rescue other rescue pod survivors & evac.
However.....what I don't like is the sluggishness/control of the two vehicles I've tried. The warthog (Real game & demo) & small purple space craft,(multiplayer demo) steer like pigs.... so the warthog at least is aptly named!!!
Dunno yet if I'd recommend buying it, I'll give it a few more hours of play time first.

Radeon 9600pro 128mb?

I probably won't play Halo anyways but just making sure it will run with no lag

idk why it wouldnt work... im using a shitty 32mb card and it works
