I've watched a shedload of Blue Mountain State, however, and enjoyed it. Therefore I can't really claim the higher ground when it comes to quality judgements.

Blue Mountain State's final episode is among TV's best moments. It's a pity you have to grow into the characters throughout three seasons just to get to enjoy that last one. That's of course regardless of the fact that recurrent characters just stop showing up randomly between seasons (for real life reasons or for non-renewals without an explanation).

If you thought this year's premier of Sherlock was great - that's the kind of feeling you'll get from sitting through three seasons of BMS. It helps that there are consistent themes on an episodic basis like every episode has to have one incredibly hot girl.
