Note: We recommend using caution before renaming file(s) on your system. Renaming the wrong file(s) on your hard drive could impair the functioning of other software on your system. Please write down the location and name of any file you plan to rename before renaming it. You should also note the file's new name. This will insure that the file can be recovered, if necessary, by giving the file its original name and location.
Windows 95, 98, NT ,XP
In My Computer or Windows Explorer, select the file you want to rename. You do not need to open it.
On the File menu, choose Rename.
Type the new name, and then press ENTER.
I think you can just burn a image to your hard drive if it's an iso.

Do exactly as wenze1 said OR you are going to have alot of problems later by renaming things I use Dos anyways it doesn't then rename all the same type of file.
If its an iso then scan it with CDmage first for bad sectors or all your work downloading could be for nothing.
Just click on it.Better make sure you scan it first↔
Is it a Zip file?
If so Go HERE!!!
