CPU speeds are low 0-5% but ever since I've put this board in it doesn't recognize the processor, it's simply unknown. It's the only thing I found unusual in device manager.I know it's an Athlon XP 2000, I've even checked on the processor itself to make sure. It's reading the speed right but not the name. The f$#king thing froze again while reading replies.

Umm, have you installed the drivers that came with your motherboard? Also, what OS are you running?

factory direct is good place to buy stuff from but NOT mOBOS if u hav the warranty return it... and get a ASUS
