Somebody should start an "Internet pr0n Database" thread in WebDev.

I can start laying out the database because I'm bored. Tell me what you want (like title, year, "actresses," categories, specialized search engines, etc.) and I'll do it. If you're serious about making this, like any other website, you should add the functionality first (databases, PHP), then add design (XHTML, CSS, JS) and finally add content (XML maybe).

Other PHP / MySQL devs are free to post their suggestions.

CoolMac, you should get an account at 1&1 for ad-free CGI, PHP, and MySQL or you can use my inactive account at ASPFreeServer, which has ad-free ASP, PHP, and MS-Access. ASP just sucks though.

I can&#39;t see what The Royal Institute of International Affairs would have a reason to go againsts a Porn database, and if you really did mean the RIAA, why would they be againsts it.

Now there would probably be some religious groups againsts something of this nature, but screw&#39;em, as long as the hosting service has no problems with it, and you get permission to use any copyrighted material, I really don&#39;t see the problem.

he prob means the mpaa but they wont have nothing to do with it neither cause they dont do porn do they? if they do they will prob keep the movies e.t.c. and watch them their selves

Try Metropoli2000. The site&#39;s in Spanish, and your space must contain at least one Spanish site, but they offer unlimited space, unlimited space in unlimited MySQL databases, PHP with safe_mode off, no ads, CGI in C, BASh, Perl, awk, and Python, etc.

You need webmasters or the site will not work. I do not specialize in design that much, I shift more towards server-side programs and integration of dynamic elements.

And I don&#39;t know what he even wants, so making a database schemac at this point would be moot.

we both know how easy it is to create a webpage these days even for a dumb user. They dont need developers to make a backend for a porn site

I am not cricizing, just noticing that few good webdesigners here are hopping for it and displaying what they know, like you and Ynhockey


You both have good credentials but you wont be needing any of it for a porn site
