DXdiag for most things.
and Device manger for everything else.

You guys are too soon to jump to downloading stuff to do stuff for u that WINDOWS actually does right for you in the first place.

You have a point John, but why doesn't Windows put ALL of the info in one place, available with one click like BelArc does?
Techincally, it IS all in Windows Device Manager.......... [/b][/quote]
What happens if you just bought a system and the drivers and such are not installed properly??? The device manager just tells you that you have a display adapter.I have bought a few older mobo's lately and worked on a few systems for friends in the last little while that have no names on the mobo. How do you figure out what they are?? Device manager won't tell you. Aida32 has saved me many hours of searching the net for drivers and what not.
For instance I have a slot 1 ATX mobo ,the only thing written on the board is Legend QDI.What type of board do you suppose it is? Yes it is a QDI,but legend has nothing to do with what it is.Alot of older boards are like this , so the best way to know exactly what it is is to use aida32 . I have used Belarc advisor in the past but find aida32 much better.

Okay, well I do use CPU-Z to find out my Ram type, and any info on it.

Oh and btw, Windows Device manager is in Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager.

You can also hit Windows+Pause/break button next to your scroll lock to get to the system window. (Thanks VB/Adam for that)
