I just started backing up some of my DVD's to Xvid. I use Smartripper and Vidomi. My question is can I fit a movie 2 hours or more on to one CD? Also will the quality be any different if it's on 1 CD? If the movie is more than two hours I usually encoded the movie in 2 pass Xvid and sound is encoded at 128kbs.

Just convert a small avi to kvcd, and test it. I can do it for you if you want.
