[SIZE=1]AMD 4200 X2 @ 2.65Ghz, ASRock 939-VSTA
1.75GB PC3200, 2 X 160GB Seagate w/ 8MB Buffer
HIS Radeon X800 Pro, Antec Super Lanboy Aluminum
I'm thinking it goes something like this:
ATI=AMD
Nvidia=Intel
now heres my explanation:
ATI is generaly faster and better then Nvidia which goes along with the more bang for your buck type statement, that same statement fits perfectly with AMD.
Nvidia is generaly overpriced junk that you hear about everywhere, Intel is exactly the same without the junk part.
So:
ATI -faster but cheap and more power for your dollar
AMD -Cheaper but also more power for your dollar
Nvidia -Less bang for your buck
Intel -More expensive but faster, less bang for your buck tho
HAHAHAHA ATI & AMD for LIFE!!!
Gaint Antispyware is the #1 greatest Spyware/Adware cleaner ever created, I recomend it to everybody, even if you don't think you need it.
Since you guys hijacked my topic with a little dance through Back To the Future trivia, I have no qualms about taking my own little hike here....
If you ever have the opportunity to see The Blue Man Group in person, jump at it.
They are absofuckinglutely AMAZING!
I've seen them twice in Chicago and would go again in a hearbeat.*
Right up there with Cirque du Soliel as great theatrical experiences.
OK.
That's it.
Carry on.

I agree, clocker. The Blue Man Group is a cool performance.
HAHAHA! Life is a long time. Computers change drastically in a very short time. No way am I going to commit to a lifetime of ATI or AMD or any brand for that matter. I would end up missing out on the future.HAHAHAHA ATI & AMD for LIFE!!!
Well, i been thinking about it, and m final decision is that ndividia is like intel, and amd is like ati. ATI gives awsome performance for its price, which is what AMD does. Nvidia offers less performance for the same money, which is what intel does.
that's my opinion.
Yup, ATI cards have been known to cause many hassles.Originally posted by Voetsek@13 June 2004 - 09:48
Strange used a ATI card in my pc nothing but hassle
I think ATI is like AMD and nVidia is like Intel....just because
and for the record, atm I'm using both ATI and AMD in my system, no intel and no nVidia (except from built in options like chipset and such)
