I rang and esplained the situation, they told me to ring in this pm to re-arrange it cos they said the hospital might (i doubt it) say something about incapacity benefit or something.

Get someone to drop a paving stone on it and claim incapacity benefit...
I was going more for the aggravating the injury rather than the cause to get the benefit.
