    Maybe theres a special way to install this? I usually just boot it up off the disk and go thru that whole format process. Isnt that how its done?

    Is the drive set to LBA mode? Maybe you could tell us more about the problem? Like the full specs?

    I dont know what LBA mode is, How can I find out?

    SPECS:
    P4 2ghz @2.5
    512 SDRAM (Apacer)
    Gigabyte mobo (cant remember the model name)
    Western Digital 60 GB HD
    Geforce FX 5200.

    LBA mode is a setting in the BIOS for the HDD configuration.

    In the bios Were you change shit . Just remember f 10 .

    I'll Check. If its on disable it right?

    EDIT: I just checked, Looked in every section in the bios and no LBA mode.

    I wouldn't put it past you, seeing as your not even reformating your computer, your simply formatting it, reformatting it would to format it, then directly after format it again .
