That's 48C at idle. Set speed fan to record charts, then run your game (or something else which stresses the cpu) for about 5 mins, then check the temps on the chart to see what happened.

At this point I don't know what is causing your problem (temps are high, but not fatal and your voltages look OK), but ten minutes of a Burnin test really proves very little.Originally Posted by asmithz
Download Prime95 AND Aquamark3 .
Run them both together while logging with Speedfan...that should tell you something.

well this used to happen to me as well, and i found out it was my video card drivers

One of my systems has been acting up over the last couple of days, all down to the weather. It wouldn't stay running at full load for more than a few mins.
This morning I whipped off the fan (leaving the heatsink in place), cleaned it and between the fins on the heatsink, and remounted the fan. 5 mins work and everything is ok again.
But just to point out, the indicated temps were slightly lower than yours.
