    1. Once a day at least, more if he gets all mucky with sick and poo.
    2. The nipple toughens up after a while. Prolly best to get him on teh bottle before that (speaking as a man who doesn't really like tough nipples ) - you can get a pump thing to extract breast milk if you're worried about nutrients and anti-bodies.
    3. I felt particularly useless. Still do, sometimes.

    Only what I did. I can't say if it's definitely the right thing to do or not but the baby survived

    I only have 1 piece of advice, enjoy things and don't wish for the next part. Next week he will be six months old, the week after that he will be walking. In about two months he starts school.

    Believe me, you are just about to find out just how much tempest can fugit.
