getin anew pc, need a 2.6ghz, 512mb, 120gb 72rpm's, good video card, and 17 inch lcd monitor? Any thing not so pricy?

Not so pricey? I just got a killer Sappire Radeon 9500 128 non pro becuase you can soft mod it to Pro..and it is not so pricey, either, like $150 at googlegear.

I customized a few pc's. Two of them have gefroce fx 5200's and one has a 5600, I have to see which my dad picks to buy.

Either one is good! I read here, somewhere, that there is little difference between the two cards.

I have ATI Radeon 9200 256MB on my new pc yep a cheap card and on my older pc NVIDIA Gforce4 Ti4600 128MB DDR AGP both run UT 2003 on all setting at max
no trouble both fine cards.
