Had this problem a while back when I stupidly let my brother use MSN messenger, and he saved his p/w on my system. Was that bad I contacted Micro$oft. I've since deleted the email, but it involved this...
Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Click Your 'User Name' > Manage My Network Passwords > Remove the .NET Password
There is another way to do this in your registry but I'm not sure if you're willing to do this if it doesn't work. Let me know either way

FFS Why are people so reliant on software to do everything. I'm going to love the day someone's PC fcuk's up and they're posting from an Internet cafe because they can't reboot the PC. You need to start learning things for yourself.
I'd rather ask someone and instead of them showing me, to learn myself.
You way is bollox thats for doing a new .NET so who knows what your on about, software is their for a reason, and i doubt u can do registry options, software is their to fix PC's if its a internal problem
actually your .net account is what is saved on your pc's registry hence everytime you boot up you are getting shown the 'unread messages' under your user name.Originally posted by angel_of_death57@22 December 2003 - 15:34

as for your comment regarding my ability to perform 'registry options' i could probably run rings around you in that dept. there's a saying that comes to mind... 'never underestimate your opponent'.
