Is there a plugin or anything that stops emoticons URL/IMG’s going to the bottom of the posting screen?

I think that's an Invision Board problem, not a Firefox one.
Oh right, cheers
you might find this useful http://www.pawsoft.com/?p=fass/home, or just use IE to visit IPBs (yeah right)
No, it is a firefox one, all stuff you insert into any text fields always go to the bottom of the postOriginally posted by fred devliegher@26 June 2004 - 07:04

would also like to find a fix for this.
Although you're probably gonna hate me say it, the easiest thing to do about it is learn to hand-code (i.e. type the BB tags directly)
It's a bit of work to remember and get used to the tags, but once you do it can be faster than clicking the buttons at the top
I agree ... saves loads of time and there really isn't much to learn (though how often do you post code, lists etc?) ... so just learn the usual .. close etc and you'll be better off in the long run.
some of the more advanced stuff like URL tags and img tages take a while to learn (tag is easy, url is kinda hard). I've learnt to memorize the reat (that i actually use) but still find that highlighting a certain area of text then clicking a certain tag is much easier than typing them all out.Originally posted by TRshady@26 June 2004 - 10:49

yep. type ur tags. but yeah I do wish they'd fix that.
i've typed font=tahoma so many goddamn times I just type it at random now
On another note....anyone notice animated gifs playing really fast in Firefox 0.9?
see my avatar for an example.
It also (and this may not be a new bug) refuses to display the Webdings font properly.
Is this just me? I've made an example below.
In Internet Explorer, this shows up as a 'tool' icon if font=webdings is applied. However, in Firefox you just get this @ symbol.
