I've heard bad things about it, but I was wondering if it's all that bad, I have a Geforce 4 Mx440 and I'm looking for an upgrade, the FX5200 is about 30 dollars cheaper then the 5600 and I was wondering if it's a lot worse then the 5600...Is it roughly the same as the Mx440 or alot better, does it take up two slots, AGP and PCI and what games do you think it'll stutter on...Also, does it need it's own power supply?

its better then the MX also a bit better the the TI and for games is just above the ATI Radeon 9000. but below 5600 u can now stop posting topics about Video Cards and actually do ur own research and look at each of the cards specs.

and gamecube has sucky gfx to. and ati is quiting the gfx card compition anyways, and all games are designed to work with the nvidia cards anywyas, so your better off with a nvidia card. i may be using an ati card, but i regret ever thinking about buying it. i can't wait for the fx5900 ultra 256mb to be released. i'll ditch this friggin card for it the day i can. prolly sooner then later. if i had a choice between the fx5200 and fx5600 i'd go for the fx5600. its a stonger card then the 5200. its worth the extra 30 bucks for it.

Fx5600 is a leaf blower that benchmarked lower than the 9700 pro. I would wait for the Fx5900.

Maximum Pc reviewed the fx5900 ultra with the 256 mb and it kick the radeon 9800 pros ass by about a 5 percent margin in everything. The Radeon had DDR-II
(Hopefully im not the only one here who knows what DDR-II is)
