Does Powerusenet throttle download speed?

I've had Powerusenet before. To say the least, they suck! I was having the same kind of speed issues you are.
Except for late at night I could not max out my connection. They have a real bandwidth issue.


I switched to Usenetserver. Now my speeds are MUCH improved.
You need a new Usenet provider.

Thanks for the sugestion, will definitely consider Usenetserver.

Also, something strange happened when I downloaded my files today. My download speed suddently reached the sky, I was getting over 10MB/sec download speed constantly and I even reached 12MB/sec!

This is really weird, do you think powerusenet listened? lol

I'll see what speeds I'll be getting tomorrow etc, if it changes back to normal I'll switch provider but I must say I was pretty darn impressed today.
